Nature Center Area Disc Golf Course Layout

Great for clean, peaceful, family-friendly atmosphere in non-utilized area of the park

Course is completely enclosed, no crossing roads necessary.  All shots are away from roads.

Course contains 9 "Shared" Baskets, 2 Tee Boxes per Basket = 18 Hole Course
(For low-cost, instead of concrete, teeing areas can simply be worn dirt boxes with color-coded 4 x 4's as throwing lines, red for "front 9", blue for "back 9")

Option: Discs can be sold in the Nature Center or the Beach Center

Holes would average about 175-200 feet, with several near 300 feet.

The Metro Beach Disc Golf Course is not intended to be a pro-level course.
Its purpose is to bring disc golf to a beautiful park and allow visitors another fun activity to enjoy.
It will also provide another local course option for disc golf enthusiasts like myself.

Pictures below are just general shots of the proposed area.  No actual holes have been planned yet.
(current hole layout is simply to show that 9 baskets / 18 holes is possible)

Possible New Course Layout - Huron Point

The following are only temporary ideas, in order to get a feel for the
space that's available and how to best avoid the walking paths, train path, and
other activities.

Hole numbers are only temporary as well, and only serve to organize and get
a feel for the flow of the course.

Tees and baskets can and will be moved in order to increase safety and challenge to the players.

This is also one of a few possible locations for the MBDGC, but the one that provides the
best view of Lake Saint Clair to players.
